SOUTH TEXAS EMPLOYMENT PARTNERSHIPS
The South Texas Employment Partnerships (STEP) is an individualized job placement service
available to adults with mental retardation, age 22 and over. Vocational assessments are
completed & followed by a job placement which fits individual needs. Job training is provided
at the job site for a period of time, followed by support so that individuals can continue their
employment. These services are coordinated with other vocational service agencies.
